Bake a Difference

For REIN

A bake sale is a great fit for parents and younger kids because it’s simple, familiar, and easy to manage.

Turn cookies, brownies, and cupcakes into care for Mustangs and other feral equines in need. A community bake sale is a fun, family-friendly way to raise funds while introducing more people to REIN’s mission.

Before planning your sale, obtain permission from the school, business, church, event organizer, or property owner where it will be held. Be sure to follow any rules regarding food preparation, packaging, ingredient and allergen labeling, pricing, and cash handling.

Choose a date, gather your baking team, and create a welcoming display explaining that proceeds benefit REIN. Clearly price each item and include a QR code linked directly to REIN’s online donation page. Test the QR code before the event and place it where visitors can easily scan it.

Set out a separate, clearly labeled cash-donation container for anyone who would like to contribute without making a purchase—or add a little extra to their order. Keep all cash secure and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.

Promote your bake sale through social media, school announcements, neighborhood groups, or community calendars. Every treat sold, donation made, and conversation started helps create a safer, more purposeful future for an equine in need.

Ready to turn treats into second chances? Start baking for REIN!
