Skills & Time: Volunteer Your Talents

Not everyone can muck stalls or lead a horse and that’s okay. Rein Rescue relies just as much on people who can share their professional skills as we do on hands-on barn help. If you have a talent, we probably have a way to put it to work saving horses.

Administrative & Office Support

Data entry, scheduling, email correspondence, and record-keeping keep a rescue running behind the scenes. If you’re organized and detail-oriented, this is a meaningful way to lighten the load for our small team.

Event Planning

Fundraisers, open houses, and adoption events don’t happen without someone coordinating logistics, vendors, volunteers, and timelines. If you love pulling events together, we’d love your help.

Fundraising & Grant Writing

Rescues run on donations, and donations run on people who know how to ask. If you have experience with grant writing, donor relations, event planning, or nonprofit fundraising strategy, you can help us build sustainable funding so we can take in more horses and give them better care.

Marketing

Help us tell our horses’ stories. We need people who can write compelling copy, develop campaigns, design flyers and brochures, or help plan community outreach events. A well-told story is often the difference between a horse waiting for a home and a horse finding one.

Legal & Financial

Volunteers with backgrounds in law, accounting, or nonprofit compliance help make sure Rein Rescue operates responsibly and stays in good standing freeing up more resources to go directly to horse care.

Social Media

Our horses need an audience. If you’re skilled at content creation, community management, or growing engagement on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok, you can help introduce our horses to people who might foster, adopt, sponsor, or simply fall in love and donate.

Graphic Design

From adoption flyers to event signage to social media graphics, designers help us look professional and put our best foot forward to donors, adopters, and the community.

Photography & Videography

A great photo can change a horse’s life. Volunteers with a camera and an eye for it help us capture horses at their best for adoption listings, sponsorship campaigns, social media, and our website. Video volunteers can help create rescue stories, training updates, and behind-the-scenes looks at daily life at the rescue.involved.

Web Development & IT

Our website and online systems need upkeep too. If you have web design, development, or general tech skills, you can help us maintain a site that makes it easy for people to learn about our horses, donate, and get

Have a skill you don’t see listed here?

If you have a talent you think could help our horses, reach out. We’re always open to creative ways people can contribute your time doesn’t have to smell like hay to make a difference.

REIN welcomes You to Reach out

Reach out, we would love to meet you.
